We are honored to invite you to a four-day nature-based wellness retreat held at the Special Liberty Project farm and retreat center in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This retreat is designed to offer space to breathe, reflect, connect, and gently move forward alongside other Gold Star Mothers who understand this journey.

What to Expect

This retreat is rooted in nature immersion, connection, and meaningful experiences. Days will be intentionally unhurried, allowing plenty of time outdoors, space for quiet reflection, and opportunities for shared conversation and support.

You can expect time spent walking wooded trails, gathering around the fire, learning alongside horses through equine assisted learning activities, engaging in guided workshops, and simply being held by the rhythms of nature.
